Something different (for me)...

Hello there well I was meant to post this morning but forgot to get the pictures from my boyfriends phone (his camera is better than mine) as it was all a mad rush. Any way I am here now :0) Can you believe this gorgeous weather we've been having? Of course I have been working all week and of course as it's the Easter holidays now the weather is going to turn bad lol.

Today I don't have a card to share, instead I have a scrapbook page. I have made some samples using the Darice embossing folders. One of the folders I have is 2.5" x 12" and thought it would be a nice idea to keep the border at its full length so what better way to do so than make a scrapbook page. Now I am no scrapbooker and have only ever completed one page before but I am quite pleased with the result.








I have mainly used centura pearl as I just love the result plus coredinations card.

Yay a card to share!!

Good evening, what gorgeous weather we are having I love it, even though I am working!

Today I have a card using another one of the Saturated Canary digi stamps.

Here is the card...





I have used Tim Holtz Shabby chic papers and core'diantions card stock. I printed the image onto Neenah card and then coloured the image with my Spectrum Noir Pens, here is a close up of the image...

No card from me but....

Good evening everyone sorry for not being around, have been busy doing samples and Sunday my 10 year old son and I spent a day at the NEC. Ooohh it was fantastic we both loved it, I had never been to a craft show before and was like a kid in a sweety shop lol. Luckily I had Josh with me who managed to talk me out of a few purchase I really didn't need. So we both did really well, we met the lovely Leann Chivers and Sara Davies from Crafters Companion :0) and brought a whole load of goodies. Josh even treated himself to a couple of stamps, which to be honest was a struggle to find something for a boy and not cute...but we got there and he was very happy.

So from the title of this post I said I didn't have a card to share, however I wanted to show the card that Josh made whilst we were at the NEC on the WOW embossing stand. This was the first time he had actually stamped and heat embossed and I think he did a fantastic job!

Saturated Canary

Hello all hope you are well and having a lovely day.

Today I have a card to share using on of the beautiful Saturated Canary digi stamps, I just love colouring these in. I stamped onto Neenah and coloured in with my Speccies.




I used some freebie papers that I got from a magazine and used coredinations card for the matting flourish and flowers...





Here is a close up of the image, I love the turquoise set of speccies the colours are fab.

Popcorn bear

Good evening, hope you are well. I am late blogging today as I had a bit of shopping to do this morning and then I decided to slob on the sofa and watch tv lol...well it was my first opportunity in a week and a half. Did you catch any of the Crafters Companion shows? They were fab!!

Tonight I have a card to share which I made for my mum for mothers day...









I used a Popcorn The Bear stamp, which I stamped onto neenah card stock and coloured in with my speccies. I printed a sentiment from the computer and used a backing paper fromPaintbox Poppets cd rom, I love the polka dots. I then embellished with some die cut flowers and swirls.

Not long now!!

Good morning all not long now til the lovely Sara Davies will be launching the 3 new character stamps and cd roms to Crafters Companion. The POTD will be launching tonight at 9.00pm on Ideal World.

Today I have a couple of cards to share using the cd rom. The first is using an image from the images sheets section on the Timmy Tiptoes cd rom.







I also used a sentiment from the stamp sheet and coordinating papers from the cd rom.

The next card is using a card companion from the Benjamin Bunny cd rom, these really are brill! Excellent for when you need a quick card but still with the quality.






I went round the edge of the tag with some glaze to give it a more metallic look.

I then added this charm...



On the sheet there is also a couple of smaller images and a tag. So I decided to make a little charm using my epiphany tool and a metal setting.

A few more sneak peeks

Good evening I am just trying to play catch up from last week and thought I would share a few more sneak peeks, I mistakenly said the launch was on Create and Craft but it's actually Ideal World and 9.00pm tomorrow.

Here are my cards...



For this card I used the new die cut decoupage and paper pad, here is a close up...




For the next card I used the paper pad which also contains a few sheets which include images and sentiments...




I cut the three images and mounted them onto some die cuts, I finished the card off using the gingham ribbon and gems which are also available.

My last card I have used a Jeremy Fisher image from the cd rom along with the stunning papers...





Again I used some ribbon and gems and a sentiment from the Jeremy Fisher stamp sheet.

Timmy Tiptoes sneak peek

Good morning everyone apologies for not being around this last couple of days there just has not been enough hours in the day Friday and Saturday were both over 14 hour days and then I worked yesterday ( which I wasn't meant to) so by 6.30 yesterday I was in bed lol. Any way enough rambling here is the card I have to share today, I have used the Timmy Tiptoes stamp and the coordinating papers from the new cd rom.




I stamped the image onto Neenah and coloured it in using my Speccies I used the slighted touch of dark brown using the fine nib of one of my whispers pens for texture, here is a close up...





So don't forget Sara from Crafters Companion will be launching the pick of the day at 9.00pm tomorrow Tuesday on create and craft I am sure all the shows will be fantastic as always, can't wait!!

Will hopefully be back later to share something else but first back to work lol

Sneaky peek of Jeremy Fisher

Good morning to all just a quick post as I about to head off to work. Don't forget Crafters Companion potd is Tuesday 20th March featuring cd Roms and stamps and more.. Today I have a stamped card and also using papers from the cd...





I won't lie I did panic when I saw these stamps...I don't water colour I have the pens but have never tried. I didn't know how I would get on with my speccies but they didn't let me down!! :0)

Benjamin Bunny sneak peek

Good morning everyone I hope you enjoyed the hop that started yesterday, thanks to all that stopped by and left me a message :0)

So as you know on Tuesday 20th Crafters's Companion have a POTD on Create and Craft, which will include 3 new cd rims and some stamps. Wow I love them!! I have the winter's tale cd rom but will admit I haven't really used it...well i will certainly be doing something about that when I have some spare time!

So onto my card, one of the elements on the cd roms is stamping tags, I printed some off onto Neenah card an stamped this little cutie...




Stamping onto the Neenah allowed me to colour in with my Speccies I added the slightest little touch of brown with the fine end of a whispers marker to add some texture. I used some papers from the cd and ribbon from a set also available on tuesday. Here is a close up of the image...

As I mentioned there is some gorgeous papers, I made this embellishment by cutting the little image from the patterned paper, triple embossed it and then distressed it by cracking it and adding a little distress ink. Okay now on to the important bit.....

New Embossing Folders

Where did the POTW go?.....lol I must say I was not surprised it had sold out, well done Crafters Companion it truly was fantastic!!

Hope you are well and enjoying the weekend. I was at work all day yesterday and then had a productive evening working on some more samples :0) so didn't get round to blogging.

I am back today though with a couple of cards to share using the new Darice folders they are great!! Now I have my Grand Calibur I can finally emboss more than a 4" square lol. I have already ordered more!!

Here are the cards









To make the cards I used both centura pearl an coordinations cardstock which work beautifully with the folders.

Right we are off for a nice family walk and perhaps do a bit of geocaching, it's such a lovely day!!

Paintbox Poppets sneak peek and don't forget the candy :0)

Sneaky peeks, new darice embossing folders and don't forget the candy...

...phew what a title lol

Hello there everyone I hope you are all well. I am here today to share a couple of things with you, the first being the new Darice Embossing Folders from Crafters Companion I had a polka dot embossing folder to play with and thought I would try something a bit different....







So I made a polka dot handbag, using coredinations card stock, which is just fab with the folders I decorated the handbag which I made with centura pearl card. It is actually more blue in real life. I decorated with a couple of flowers and decorated a bit inside...





Next I have a couple of Paintbox Poppets cards to share, again having a bit of a play I opted to make tri shutter cards. I used the stamps which are exclusive to Create and Craft as part of the POTW and coloured them in with my speccies. I decorated both cards with papers from the cd rom, they really are gorgeous designs.
