Hanging my head in shame....

Deary, Deary me how bad am I! Well I would like to say I have been busy making cards but sadly it's not the case. Not sure whats wrong with me instead of getting on with it I am ignoring the fact I am so behind lol At this rate I will be buying my Xmas cards shock horror aaahhhh!! Anyway I felt I wanted to share something with you today as I have finally got my Xmas decs down from the loft I thought I would show this that I made a couple of years ago......

I decorated it with DCWV papers and a couple of stamped images from the Cute Companions range at Crafters Companion, I coloured them in with pencils as this was before I had my speccies and pro markers.

Unfortunately it was thrown up in the loft by the boyfriend and is a bit tatty :0( perhaps I will make another next year there have been some fantastic ones shown on the I'm a Crafters Companion Facebook page so might have to find a tutorial for it BUT not until I get this Xmas out of the way lol

I hope you like

Starting to get a grip on things....

Good evening everyone hope you are well. I feel pooped tonight, did my first bit of Christmas shopping today at Milton Keynes shopping centre didn't come away with much. I just kept coming up with ideas of things to buy and then make some nice boxes to put them in (more work for myself lol)....but hey it's a start!

So as you can see from the title I am slowly getting to grips with my Christmas cards. Quite a few pics to show (sorry), hope you like them...

I kept the layout the same for each card and just changed the papers and images, which again are from the Humphrey's Corner decoupage kit from Crafters Companion. I made the card base a 6" gatefold for a change and then added some bling and lots of glitter (which doesn't really show up) the papers I used were all freebies from craft magazines :0)

Thanks for stopping by!! :0)

Humphrey Xmas

Good evening everyone hope you are all well. Tonight I would like to share a card that I have made using Humphreys Corner die cut decoupage from Crafters Companion. I actually have loads of toppers all done now as I spent a couple of nights in front of the telly with my lap tray, nice and relaxing! Anywho here is the card......

I have made it into a 6"x6" card and decorated with some snowflakes, a sentiment and a bit of bling. Apologies for the rubbish photo struggling to get a good light.

Right well I am back off to organise my stash, I am upgrading......from the cupboard under the stairs to a bigger cupboard upstairs!! I don't have a spare room so I craft from my kitchen table so things can get a little messy lol. I am not really sure why I decided to start now but I have started so I need to finish. At least I won't be banging my head on the door frame anymore however I haven't really thought about going up and down the stairs to get my bits and bobs!! I suppose the exercise will do me good lol.

Thanks for stopping by :0)

Getting there slowly.....lol

Good evening everyone, I hope you are all well. Sorry I haven't been around, I am struggling to get back into things to be honest. I think my mojo is still on its hols lol. Having said that I do have something to share with you, I have made some frame cards from the Snowman cd. Once the frames were finished I mounted them onto cards which I cut and scored to size on my boxer board (as the card size was not on my ultimate). I then finished them all off with a sentiment and some embellishments.

Well I hope you like them, thanks for stopping by :0)

I am back

Hi there blog land!! Hope you are all well? Well I am back from my holiday in Florida, I had an amazing time and the boys loved every minute! I am slowly getting back to reality, I haven't crafted for over 2 weeks and I am suffering with some serious withdrawal symptoms lol. Whilst I was on holiday my lovely boyfriend dropped me off at a Michaels craft store to do a little shopping, to be honest it was just like a scene from Super Market Sweep hehe.

As I don't have anything crafty to share I thought I would share some pics of some of the goodies brought back with me instead

Thanks for stopping by normal service should resume shortly :0)

Apologies

Hi everyone just wanted to let you know I am still here but finding it hard to work, organise and pack for holiday and craft at the same time..... boo!!

I will be back in just over a couple of weeks with some crafty makes and hopefully some pics of the crafty stash I intend to bring back when I visit Michaels and Joannes. Is it wrong I am more excited about visiting the shops than the theme parks lol

Well by for now, will be back soon!!

I'm back

Well apologies for not being around, I have been struggling to get into things to be honest. So yesterday I thought I would make a card to enter Crafters Companion monthly challenge, here is what I came up with....

As it is breast cancer awareness this month the theme to promote this is Pink and Green. I have chosen a Humphreys Corner stamp and coloured it in with my spectrum noirs and then printed a green backing paper from the Humphreys Corner cd rom. I then finished it off with some ribbon, flowers and flourishes. Here is a close up of the image....

I have now got to get cracking with some more Christmas planners as my mum liked hers so much she has been showing everyone and I have now been asked to make 4 more! They have offered to pay for them but I don't know what to ask for them, I am rubbish when it come to that!

Well I hope you like the card and thanks for stopping by hopefully it won't be so long next time :0)

Baby's first Christmas

Good morning all, I hope you are having a good weekend. Last night I became an xbox widow (again) as the boyfriend has a new game. Anyway this became the perfect excuse for me to take myself off to the kitchen and craft :0) without being moaned at for always being there lol

I have been asked to make two "first Christmas" cards, one for a girl and one for a boy. So this is what I came up with ...

I was so happy to finally make one of these centre step cards (think that's what they are called) I have been trying to figure them out for aaaagggees. I recorded Sara Davies on create and craft the other day and she was demoing how to make one of them on the boxer board :0) Happy days for the record button and Sara Davies lol

Here is a close up I used my speccies to colour and used papers from the Humphrey's corner cd. As you can see this is the baby girl one....and here is the baby boy one....

And another close up....

Thank you for stopping by.

Good evening to you all, I hope you have had a good day. I got home from work today and my printer ink had been delivered yay! So after a little play I have come up with this....

For this card I used the mistletoe kisses rubber stamp and backing papers from the Jingle Bells cd.

Here is a close up of the image, which I have coloured in using my Spectrum Noir pens. All finished off with a sprinkling of glitter :0)

I am going to enter this in this months Crafters Companion blog challenge providing I can figure out how to lol

Humphrey Christmas

Hi there everyone, hope you are well today.

Today I am going to share a Christmas card that I have made using the Humphreys Corner die cut decoupage.

I have used my faithful flourish die lol, I really ought to something else to add to my collection but I love it. I also added a couple of die cut snowflakes and some gems for a bit of bling. You can't really see in the picture but I also added some glamour dust for snow but it does look great in real life I promise :0).

Here is a close up....

Best Friends

Good evening everyone I hope you are well. It's been a cold and wet miserable night yuk! I had great plans for this evening, I was going to have a play with my new Humphreys Corner Christmas cd, sit and ooh and ahh over the images and papers and then print off enough to last me til next Christmas lol......well the plan was short live when I realised I had run out of printer ink :0(. So instead I decided to make a card from an image I had previously coloured.

Aren't they cute? I actually used the packaging as my colouring inspiration, I don't usually use so much colour so it was a great help. I used my spectrum noir pens to colour the image in. I kept the card fairly simple as the baking paper is so fussy, which actually came from a pad which was a freebie from a magazine.

Here is a close up, I hope you like :0)

Thanks for stopping by

.....now to wait for my ink to be delivered lol

Anniversary

Good afternoon all, hope you are well. I just wanted to quickly share a card I made over the weekend for my bosses who were celebrating their wedding anniversary. So without further ado here it is...

The image is from LOTV and was a freebie from a magazine which came with a set of uncoloured images. I wasn't too sure how my spectrum noir pens would work on the paper as I usually only use neeenah cardstock but I was happy with the results.

Here is a close up...

Thanks for stopping by .

Mad Hatter

Good evening, I hope you have had a good weekend.

This evening I would like to share a card that I made for a friend of mine, who's surname is Hatter and I knew she would like this image so I had to get it! The image is a digi stamp from Mo Manning, here are a few pics....

I made the card as an easel card, I love this style.

I coloured the images in with my speccies, I think I may have to treat myself to some if the bigger packs when they are back in stock from Crafters Companion.

As you can see I couldn't resist getting this cute little fella while I was there lol.

I hope you like and thanks for stopping by :0)

Next month I am going to Florida for 2 weeks I can't wait, the boys are so excited and as for me.....well I get to go craft shopping yipeeee!! Hehe

So as it will be Halloween when we get back I decided to get organised and make a Halloween card.

The image is from Mo Manning (love love love her images) and the papers are from a funky hand cd. Completed with a glittery sentiment and some bats!! I actually coloured thus image with pencils for a change but didn't really get the desired effect, so think I will stick with my pro's and speccies!! :0)
