Birthday Card

Good morning, well what a palaver I had yesterday. For some reason all my pics from all of my posts disappeared!! So instead of getting on with my samples I spent most of my night panicking and staring at my laptop with no clue what to do lol. Well they are all back!! Don't ask me how, I went online this morning and there they all were. The only explanation I an come up with is magic lol.

Anyway providing nothing goes wrong today I have a card to share.

Now this stamp is very old and I can't for the life of me remember where it came from, I stamped the image onto Neenah card and then coloured in with my Speccies. I then made my own epoxy sticker using my epiphany tool. I simply printed the word Uncle from my laptop and then lined it up in the punch added the epoxy sticker and punched...hey presto!! The punches and accessories are all available from Crafters Companion along with the card stock and speccies. Here is a close up...

I hope you like and thanks for stopping by.

I'm Back-ish

Hello all I have returned, feeling much better now and almost back to normal, although my boyfriend would argue I was never normal to start with lol.  I apologise for not visiting and commenting the last few days but just haven't been up to anything at all.

I had a lovely surprise earlier....my first ever blog award from the lovely Catherine and then along came another two from the lovely Louise and Mazza, well dont I feel special lol. Thank you so much for thinking of me ladies it has really cheered me up no end :0) Be sure to check out their blogs they are fab!!

Here is my award...
The idea of the Liebster Blog Award is to spread the love from one small blog (under 200 followers) to other small blogs. This helps to spread knowledge and readership.

To accept the award, you must:
1) Link back to the person who gave it and thank them for thinking of you.
2) Post the award to your blog.
3) Give the award to 5 bloggers (with less than 200 followers) that you appreciate and value.
4) Leave a comment on the blogs of the five people you have chosen to let them know.
"Liebster" in German means "dearest", so to carry on the
Liebster tradition, I am going to pass the award on to 5 people who's blogs have been an inspiration to me and my crafting.

I have decided to pass on this award to the following people (not in any particular order!)

Ali
Pamela
Fran
Elaine
Vee

 Thanks again ladies!!

Will be back with a card to share soon I promise

A gorjuss girly

Good afternoon. What a yucky wet day :0(.

I decided to use an old stamp to make this card, which is from the Gorjuss range at Funkykits. Here's the card.

Although I used the flourish and flowers it still looks quite a simple card, which I am quite happy with.
I stamped the image onto Neenah card stock and coloured with Speccies from Crafters Companion. Here is a close up.

Thanks for stopping by.

Something completely different...

Good morning, hope you are well. I have no card to share today but I have a couple of projects that I have finally finished to share with you.

A little bit of home decor (apologies for my first pics it wouldn't fit in the booth lol)....

I loved decorating this, I used Tim holtz paint dabbers and distress ink for the base and then decorated with Tim Holtz tissue tape punched flowers, butterflies, ribbon and I also made the necklace with some beads I had laying around.

I'm really pleased with the heart I used Tim Holtz dabbers again and also some crackle paint and then decorated with butterflies and flowers. The organza flowers I made myself and then added one of Tim Holtz sentiment tickets.

I hope you like them. Before I go I would like to say thank you to all the new people who are following and thank you to you all for all of your lovely comments :0)

Good morning this morning I have a card to share with an image that I have not used for a loooong time, I love it so much I thought I would ink it up and have a play with my speccies.

I have used my Tim Holtz papers and as I mentioned before coloured my image in using my Spectrum Noir pens from Crafters Companion.

Now I am not going to lie I struggle with hair I am never happy with the results especially when I see all the other fabulous colouring from all you clever crafters out there, so need to keep practising with that. A flower fairy Epiphany

Hello, how cold has it been today? The flowers at work were freezing in water... inside!! Poor things lol.

Here is another epiphany card I have to share with you today...

So for this card I have used the autumn and winter Fairyopolis cd rom I printed one of the frame cards and mounted it on a card to fit the card itself, have kept it nice and simple and embellished with the flower buttons using the Epiphany tool and some backing paper from the cd rom. Here is a close up of one of the buttons...

I know I keep saying it but I blinking love this tool!!

Before I go here are a couple of cards that I have made using the paint fusion cd rom. Have you been watching Sheena's shows? I have been truly inspired, think I might have to give the painting a go.

I hope you like and thanks for stopping by. I'm off for a nice soak in the bath :0)

An epiphany sneak peek

Good evening bit late tonight had a manic afternoon, although I did find the time to watch Sheena's shows weren't they fab? I had to order myself the transfer sheets they look great, I can't wait to have a play with them!

So here is the card I have to share today.

I have used the Humphreys Corner cd rom and made a frame card.

I enclosed the frame in a gatefold card which I made using my boxer board so I was able to make it to fit the depth of the frame.

I used the Epiphany tool to make the buttons and stuck them on so they almost act like handles to keep the card tied together.

Don't forget to tune into Create and Craft on Sunday at noon to see the tool in action.

Thank you for visiting.

Bye for now, hugs

Paint Fusion cd rom

Good morning all, well I am back today with two cards to share with you. Not sure if they count as sneak peeks because today is the day you can buy the cd rom and all the other new fantastic goodies available!!! Yay!!! So don't forget to tune in to Create and Craft today at 12 noon to see Sheena Douglass launch her pick of the week.

I have made this card 8"x8" in size with Centura Pearl card stock and then from the backing papers section of the cd rom printed onto some printable acetate. I then attached the decoupage which coordinates with the backing paper.

Onto the second card I have again used some decoupage, I love the sunflowers have I said that about all of them? lol. I have embellished with some printed flowers and butterflies which I have both spray and shined and glittered and then added a sentiment which I have given a distressed look.

Thanks for visiting me today :0)

Epiphany sneak peek with Fairyopolis

Good evening everyone, the day is drawing nearer for Leann to be showing the epiphany tool, I know I can't wait!!

Today I have a card to share with you where I have used the Blackthorn Fairyopolis stamp and of course the tool to make my own embellishments :0)

I used papers from the coordinating Cd Rom and the image was stamped onto Neenah cardstock and coloured in with my spectrum noir pens, all of which you can get from Crafters Companion. Here are a couple more pics...

I used the epiphany tool to make four buttons and also some papers from the cd rom so it all matched the card. Here is a close up of one of the buttons...

Thanks for your visit today, will be back tomorrow with a couple more peeks.

Hugs B xx

Paint Fusion Cd rom sneaky peek

Hello there again, as I said earlier I am back with another peek from the Paint Fusion Cd rom. The images are just to die for and if like me you don't have the paints and stamps the cd rom is perfect. I must admit though seeing the stunning samples of the new stamps also to be launched I am getting more and more tempted. Think I'm going to be sitting on my hands on Friday lol.

Here's what I have to share today...

For this card I used the poppy decoupage and then printed one of the backing papers but this time onto printable acetate to make a wrap for the card base. Not the best picture in the world I know but here's another...

I finished the card off with a butterfly (which I have a bit of thing for I even have a tattoo of one lol) and the metal effect brads from the embellishment sheets which are also a feature of the cd.

Thanks for stopping by and again thank you for your kind comments they mean a lot.

Epiphany daisy chain

Hello everyone thank you so much for all the lovely comments on yesterday's post. I am feeling a lot more happier today a 99p ikea breakfast and a little shopping trip was just what I needed. Have got a stressful few days coming up with Valentines and sorting out childcare has been a real headache as its the holidays, hey ho lol.

Anywho I have another Epiphany sneak peek to share, I can not wait until Sunday when I can get more, the tool really is fab Leann will be showing on Create and Craft this Sunday.

To make the card I used the Humphrey's Corner cd rom from Crafters Companion and chose the daisy chain decoupage image.

I then embellished the card using the marvellous Epiphany tool...

I have kind of tried to replicate a daisy chain by threading the buttons onto some raffia. As you can see the buttons I have made yellow and check this out...I actually punched through coredinations cardstock!! With ease I might add :0) I really
am excited about this tool, I hope you all will like it as much as me.

Thanks for stopping by and I will be back later with another sneak from the fab Sheena Douglass Paint Fusion cd rom.
