Martini....

Good morning all. So today is the day the POTD is being launched!!...Leann will be showing the new Frou Frou range tonight at 8.00pm on Create and Craft. Today I thought I would share probably my most favourite stamp from the range called Martini Girl.



I coloured the image in using my Spectrum Noir pens the colours I used are..

Skin- TN3, TN2, FS9 TN1 & PP2 cheeks
Hair- GB10 & GB8
Dress- CG1, CG2, CG4 & blender
Bow & flower IG7, IG8 &IG10 Pp1, PP3 & PP5

Here's a close up...



I embellished the card with some ribbon, a quilled flower from the Die'sire quilling range and also a couple of stamped flourishes which are also on the plate :0)

A sneak peek...

....a new range is coming to Crafters's Companion and is called Frou Frou. It is AMAZING there will be stamps a CD rom and also a Digi Cd rom.

Today I am going to share my first ever piece of digi crafting......

....a scrap book page




Every year for the last few years a group of my friends and I go to Ascot horse racing and i thought the two women were perfect for a page of this theme. I had great fun playing with the digi kit and I must admit its very addictive lol.

I will be back with more sneak peeks be sure to check out the rest of the DT who are also showing the most gorgeous samples :0)

Time for Spring...

....well I certainly need it!! I'm bored of this cold dismal weather but I can't do anything about it so need to stop moaning and create something to cheer me up :0)
Luckily this months challenge over at Spectrum Noir site is Spring!!

I have used a Popcorn the bear stamp and of coloured in with my Spectrum noirs

Here is the card



The colours I used were TN1, TN2, TN3 for Popcorn
PP1, PP3, and PP5, DG1, DG2 and DG4 plus blender for the tulips.



I also coloured the flowers and pearl brads with my pens to match the rest of the card!!

Not long now...

.....tomorrow is the night Bamboo will make his appearance on Ideal World at 9.00pm as a pick of the day.

Today I have a couple of cards that I made using the cd rom.



This is one of the shaped cards which I printed onto Centura pearl card card. I also printed on the other side so it wasn't just plain on the inside of the card. I printed it out twice and decoupaged the image and also added a butterfly from one of the embellishment sheets.



The next card is one of the card companions.



As you can see they don't have to be square cards. Such a cute image and I just love the paper clip embellishments, they look so real!!

Bamboo Floral Delight

Hey there I am back today with another sneak peek of the new Party Paws range from Crafter's Companion . The card I am sharing today is using one of the stamps and also some paper from the cd rom.



I LOVE the papers on this CD rom and this patchwork style is a particular fave!! I coloured the image with my Spectrum noir pens to colour the image in, which I cut out leaving a small border a glued to some embossed acetate. Here is a close up of the image.



The colours I used are-

Bamboo-IG10, IG8, IG6, IG1 blender

Flowers PP1, PP3, PP5, LV1, LV2, LV3
Leaves DG1, DG2, DG4

Not long now until you can get your hands on this little cutie!!

CC Blog Challenge -something Vintage

Good morning can you believe we are already in March (where does the time go?!?) which means a new challenge over at the Crafters Companion challenge blog
. This months theme is Vintage, here is what I came up with.....

A vintage inspired box



I used my Ulti Boxes board toile the box and then decorated with vintage style lace and lots of flowers the larger flowers are made using Die'sire quilling dies. Here's a pic from a different angle.
